SASW

From 6th April 2011, Apprenticeship frameworks in Wales must meet the requirements of the Specification of Apprenticeship Standards for Wales (SASW)

This website allows framework experts to create a framework by completing a series of fields, on line, based on the SASW requirements

Framework experts must understand all three parts of the SASW which include:

PART ONE: SASW

This sets out the minimum requirements to be included in an Apprenticeship framework for Wales at levels 2, 3 and 4.

Compliance with the SASW will be a statutory requirement of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning (ASCL) Act.

PART TWO: Additional Information

This Guidance summarises the minimum requirements to be included in an Apprenticeship framework when it is used in Wales.

PART THREE: Supporting Information

This sets out the requirement for supporting information that is used to explain entry conditions, progression routes and equality and diversity to be included in an Apprenticeship framework for Wales.
